How to become a member

The Club is pleased to welcome new members. Application forms are available from the club Secretary or download one below.

According to the Rules of the Club, two sponsors are required who have been members of the club for at least one year. However, if this is not possible applicants are asked to provide two acceptable references.

In due course, applicants names will be posted on the club notice board for 2 weeks. If no objections are received then club membership will be approved.

Fees

On acceptance into membership applicants will be asked to pay:

Full membership: - £80.00 (valid to 31st March 2010)
Note: for new members a one off registration fee of £10 is applicable making a total of £90.00
   
Non-playing membership: - £10.00
   
Junior Membership: - £5.00
 

Membership fees are payable by 31 March of each year.

Please note: if an existing member does not pay the fee by the 31 March then the £10.00 registration fee becomes payable again.

What is available?

Opportunity to participate in league and friendly games along with all internal and external club competitions.

The club has a regular Friday evening 'hat competition' in which anyone can come along and have a go at bowling.

The club has a regular and full programme of social events throughout the year including Quiz Nights, Video Horse Race Nights, Bingo, Live Music Nights and Dances. These will be displayed on this website and also the club notice boards.

During the winter months many competitions are held including carpet bowls, darts, dominos and pool.

Coaching sessions are available for persons without any experience of bowling and who wish to sample the sport before submitting an application. Other prospective applicants are welcome to visit the club before completing a form.
