This years 'Wii day' on Sunday 7th was another resounding success. There were 16 teams of 4 competing for the covet annual trophy as well as many spectators encouraging their friends and relatives. Photos and full details to follow.

Congratulations to Bill Beedie. Bill has been picked as one of 10 umpires from Scotland to officiate at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in Oct 2010. There are 3 umpires from district 5 Bill, Catherine Kinnear (Rattray) and Eddie Nicholson (Bridge of Earn). It is a great honour for them and a great achievement for our district. Well done to them all !!

To get 2010 started off we now have a new dart board and each Sunday there will be darts, pool and dominos for all to enjoy. Competitions will soon be started so get your name down as soon as the lists go up on the club notice board.
Carpet bowls - played throughout the winter months. Both league and 'Saturday evening friendlies'. Great fun and suitable for all.
Bingo - great night, great prizes! 'eyes down' every Friday at 8:30pm

News stories

At the Special General Meeting held on Monday 14th December at 7pm a new committee structure was proposed and accepted by the meeting. Click HERE for details of the new structure.

A big thank you from the new committee for all those who made the effort to attend. We can now go into the future with confidence.

Anyone who has any comments with regard to the the new structure or the club can contact Steve Saunders (Secretary) or any of the committee.

Charity Day Despite the weather we raised £1000. Well done to everyone involved and to the visiting teams who helped make it a great day.

Charity cheques of £500 each were presented by President Sandy Robinson to Lynda Adam (Day Care Unit at Blairgowrie Cottage Hospital) and lady President Morna Kippen to Jim Gibb (Freedom Coach Association).
